We spent six months in Buenos Aires, and I still can’t find the words to sum up this unique city: it truly has its own vibe. Only in Buenos Aires do crumbling facades of old building exude an odd beauty, and cobblestone streets seem to fit (albeit in perfect juxtaposition) with the trendy cafes lining the streets. The people are beautiful, the music is passionate, and like the population–a predominant mix of European descent–the cuisine is a mixture of cultures and Argentine “takes” on traditional Old World dishes.
