GOOD shares its stats on American’s favorite craft beers

In honor of Super Bowl Sunday (which, like the 4th of July, Memorial Day weekend and Labor, is a day that constitutes beer consumption) we would love to share the following map from our new favorite website, GOOD.

GOOD is a website dedicated to mapping out statistics: a way of visualizing an idea, trend or mindset of the people who live in the map’s regions. From business or education to culture and food; GOOD has a map for everything. We LOVE this website!

Today’s map is called the United States of Beer. GOOD asked their readers to “nominate the most awesome, best-tasting, sustainably brewed, independently owned, community-oriented craft beer brewed in your state” and then produced a map based on the results.

Congrats to Lagunitas, the chosen craft beer of our home state of California! Lagunitas is based out of Petaluma, just a short drive from beautiful Sonoma and San Francisco.

Check out the map to see if your favorite beer was state ranked. It just might give you an idea for a Super Bowl Sunday brew.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday to all! Go…. Packers? Cowboys? Chargers? I’ll admit, I can’t stand football. But I DO love Super Bowl parties… that doesn’t say much, since I pretty much love any excuse to get friends together and cook good eats and drink good beer. Don’t judge. Just drink and be merry. :)

Cheers!
